GISC students enjoy field trips as well as special presentations by distinguished visitors.

GISC students haven taken field trips to the Field Museum, the Lincoln Park Zoo, the Grimm Fairy Tale World special exhibition at the DANK-HAUS, the Shedd Aquarium, and the Morton Arboretum. Students have also enjoyed special presentations (on Arthropods and Birds) by Field Museum Curator Dr. Petra Sierwald as well as a performance and presentation on Musical Instruments by Chicago Philharmonic Cellist Matthew Agnew.
