GISC Playgroup

Join Our Weekly Playgroup

We host a free weekly playgroup with the purpose of providing a play space for babies and toddlers, as well as offering a support network for parents and caregivers. The playgroup takes place in the GISC gym, on our playground, or at a local park every Wednesday from 8:30 am to 10:00 am while school is in session.

It’s the perfect opportunity to meet other parents and introduce your child to the German language and culture. German language skills are not required. All are welcome!

Please sign up for our playgroup below!

Julie Steffen, GISC Parent and Trustee

Our oldest attended the GISC Krabbelgruppe [playgroup] for almost 2 years before starting in the preschool. It made her transition so smooth and easy, without tears. She loves the school and the community. Now our youngest is on the same path to success. Thank you to GISC for all these offerings to help our kids feel at home right from the start.
German International School Chicago is a preschool through 8th grade school that prepares students to become well-rounded, creative, and responsible global citizens. We provide students with a rigorous German-English bilingual education in a supportive and individualized learning environment.
