I hope you recently received information on the GISC Fund along with an invitation to participate in giving to the GISC Fund. In the past few years, the additional financial support from donations has allowed us to budget for new programmatic choices such as starting a Counseling Office, investing in technology upgrades, and putting forth a staffing model that benefits our students by hiring experienced teachers and maintaining attractive teacher-to-student ratios in classrooms. But the GISC Fund also helps us maintain and improve our school – this past summer, the school installed a new roof and fortified the building’s brickwork with comprehensive tuckpointing. Our next big project is to install new HVAC units on the second and third floors over the next two years, improving the classroom environment and student experience. Your support also helps us fund a Financial Aid program that currently benefits 10% of our students. I can assure you that your financial support above and beyond the annual tuition has led to significant growth and will lead to further improvements.
